Prayer for the Day

Please LORD, let us not forget You when we fight the daily fight. The temptation to rely on our own strategies and strength, and not to leave the harvest to You is so strong. Help us to trust You to bring results when we sow the seeds and tend to them, and not to fret over our limitations and our weaknesses and the seeming futility of our efforts.

God the Father, we surrender our wills to You. God the Son, please cleanse us continually of the power of sin over our lives, and forgive us so that we can have fellowship, as you have already forgiven us for sonship. God the Holy Spirit, please empower us to do the Father's will. All in Your name God the Son Jesus Christ I pray.
