A blogger calling himself Fester has done some numerical analysis about the recruiting situation.
Specifically, he is interpreting recent data on recruitment and aptitude test scores (registration required) to determine how much quality is suffering, or alternately, how good or bad recruiting would be if the Army had not lowered its standards.
