Thoughts about the Issue of Rape

Sixteeen Volts has some interesting thoughts on the Duke rape case and on rape in general.

Toward the end of the piece, he wonders whether the feminists put so much importance on rape because it allows them to be one of the oppressed, therefore allying them with other oppressed groups and alleviating their guilt for being middle-class in a first-world country.

I don't know if I agree, but it is an interesting idea.

That is all.
